• Bisphosphonates for the relief of pain secondary to bone metastases
• Mu-opioid antagonists for opioid-induced bowel dysfunction
• NSAIDS or paracetamol, alone or combined with opioids, for cancer pain
• Pain management for sickle cell disease in children and adults

Headache

• Propranolol for migraine prophylaxis

Acute pain and Chronic pain

• Epidural analgesia for pain relief following hip or knee replacement
• Hydromorphone for acute and chronic pain
• Opioid switching to improve pain relief and drug tolerability
• Topical anaesthetics for reduction of children’s pain associated with needle insertion (original authors to do)
• Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) for chronic pain

Psychosocial titles
